For RTTS I have two separate files. Sometimes I like to pitch exclusively, other times I like to spend hours grinding my at Bats. Rarely do I want to bat with my pitcher Rolling Eyes (lifelong AL guy). The way I do it is I've progressed to the majors with a Lefty closer (Yankees) and a SS/Slugger (Padres).

I love making pitchers that can hold there own at the plate. I think pitchers that can be a productive at-bat are a lost art and as a Cubs fan I like pitchers batting. That being said, if I'm playing a position player or franchise, I'm a fan of DH, because who doesn't like more chances hang crooked numbers.

If you're honest you'll realize that even the pitchers everyone says is "good" with a bat (like Zack Greinke or Bartolo Colon) isn't really that great. It's a wasted spot and automatic out mostly and the NL should simply go DH. Also I don't want my pitcher getting hurt while batting --which happens a lot. Plus, pitchers have always been bad hitters. Even in the age before the DH, before sliders, before nutrition and strength training, pitchers were lousy hitters. Even at their best, they were bad. While batters are working on every intricacy of mastering hitting, pitchers rarely touch a bat until they're handed one and pointed towards a major league on-deck circle.

Saw this on Twitter, very interesting. I don't know if I've ever seen a sport game with a retired player on the cover as the star.

Because there's never been a star like KGJ. 99.3% vote for the HOF on the first ballot. Highest percentage of votes in the history of major league baseball.
The other 1-2 journalist that didn't vote said they didn't think anyone deserved to go in first ballot with 100% of the vote.Shocked  Evil or Very Mad  Rolling Eyes . WRONG, meet the exception to your norm!

Per baseball HOF official site:
Griffey, in his first year on the Baseball Writers’ Association of America ballot, was named on 437 of 440 ballots by voting members of the BBWAA, setting a new record with a percentage of 99.32. The previous mark of 98.84 percent was set by Tom Seaver in 1992.
