Treyarch: DLC to be distributed to EVERYONE via an update (new distribution system)

This means everyone will get it, regardless of whether you paid for it or not. Obviously only those that paid will be able to play.

Pros: much more seamless

Cons: no more pre-loading...slow connections RIP, particularly for those that never intend to buy them...that's like 40gb of data across all 4 packs!

After doing a bit more reading this is what appears will happen.

You will sign in to try and play, be prompted to download a patch (as long as auto download is not enabled) and then download it.

The biggest problem I see here is the redundancy. If people do not want to buy the DLCs why should they have to waste 9 gb of valuable memory on this DLC?

I can see this being good and bad, but bad more than anything, basically for those with data caps.
