We hold kill confirmed node right now . It looks like you can play any of the opposing clans captured other nodes and earn points toward capturing them also. First clan to get ten wins captures the node and then has to defend it . Hckc s&r tdm cranked and hunted are kc are active nodes now

You don't have to pick a node, that is just to get the "notifications" of what we are going for if the team leader wants to direct traffic. And we played a bit today and can confirm- a win with 4 people in the party counts as 4 wins for that node. In other words, every clan members win counts, in a party or solo.

360 guys capped the S&R. Still racking up more points to defend it.

Team tactical does not count toward these modes, unfortunately.

Pssshhhh. We saw you guys swoop in while we were playing the last game to cap the point after earning all the points. Glory hounds. lol

S&R is pretty interesting though. I still prefer S&D myself but you can get a whole lot of points if you engage in long range battles and stick with your team.

We had a fun time last night. At one point we ran into the guy ranked #1 in the world in Search & Rescue. We lost that one. Was on my personal worst map too, would have liked a rematch on something I'm more familiar with.

WE hold s and r with 34 wins and the next team as 22 wins we nead 27 more wins in hunted to cap that node 47 wins in s and d and 117 in dom to cap that node . Remember every clan mate gets 1 point/win toward the node per winning matchs so a group of 6 winning dom gets 6 points etc if there is only a group of 3 I would play s and d  s and r or hunted. If a group of 6 played dom it would take 20 winning games to cap that node, 20 x6=120, we currently hold the lead in dom with 43 and the next clan only has 22, we are currently also in first place in the clan war by being the only clan that has 2 nodes

I don't think we are far off in Cranked either, but that game mode you seem to roll eveyone or get rolled. The good thing is the matches are short.

What? Why does all this $hit always break? Elite, the COD app, clan wars? Don't they have enough money to hire some good programmers?

I'll be back working on KC tonight.

Re: clan wars

Post by S7 DROOPY on Sat Dec 07, 2013 1:03 pm

looks like it didn't mess u yesterday. this is how it works, following from cod site

Each node has a target number of wins that are required to capture that node. Each team's win count will be increasing at this point until someone reaches the goal. Once the node is captured, your clan earns the specified amount of CP for that node. You don't earn any more CP for that node unless you lose it and re-capture it.

Once a node is captured, any win for the team that is holding it earns will add to their number of wins. However, every win in that node from any clan member on the other 7 teams will deduct from the captors wins instead of adding to their own. Once the captor's win count reaches 0, everyone will start to earn wins again and now the mode is able to be re-captured. Once one clan captures it, the cycle continues to repeat.

Each node has a different CP value. Capture a node and then move on to another node to earn more CP. The more nodes you capture (or re-capture) the more CP you earn. It's okay to lose a node as you can then re-attempt to capture it.

Hypothetical Example

Nodes: TDM (13 CP), DOM (11 CP), KC (10 CP), Cranked (10 CP)

Team 1 captures the TDM node. They now have 13 CP.

Team 2 captures the DOM node. They now have 11 CP.

Team 3, 4, and 5 all work on TDM and lower Team 1's score down to 0 making the TDM node re-capturable.

Team 1 captures the KC node. They now have 23 CP.

Team 4 caputres the TDM Node. Team 4 now has 13 CP.

Team 2 captures the Cranked node. They now have 21 CP.

Clan War Ends

Team 1: 23 CP

Team 2: 21 CP

Team 4: 13 CP

Winner: Team 1 as they earned the most CP

Ahh, that makes sense. So really, by racking up more wins we're preventing other clans from getting any points at all. It would be interesting to let a lower ranked clan overtake us somewhere to get some extra points to pass a higher ranked clan.

Good stuff.

Yea, I will definitely play to keep the node, particularly since you get an XP bonus to play that game mode once you hold it. So more hunted tonight too eh?

Also the nodes that take more win to capture are worth more cap points, but there is no way to know how much and the longer you hold a node then you earn more cap points but it doesn't give a time frame on how long per awarded points

Looks like we spanked the competition in our division, but we are 1 controlled point away from an achievement.  We need to control 5 but only have 4.  Maybe next time.

I think the big # ones are definitely achievable. that's only like 30 wins in Dom with a full team.
