News on the Digital Versions:

Post by S7 mrmiller on Sun Nov 03, 2013 9:55 am

http://oneofswords.com/2013/11/the-difference-between-digital-physical-cod-ghosts-is/

I also found this part interesting:

Also, if you were concerned about missing out on content, donít worry. The bonus Free Fall map will be available to digital customers as well. PS3 gamers will find it bundled with their digital preorder, and Xbox 360 gamers who are enrolled in the Xbox Live Rewards program and buy the digital edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts before November 18, 2013 will receive a Free Fall download token via email after that date (tokens will likely start going out the following week). If youíre not a member of the Xbox Live Rewards program, you can sign up here Ė itís free. (UPDATE: And while itís a little ways off, yes, Xbox One digital customers will also be able to get Free Fall ó stay tuned for details on that.)
And this can highlight the big differences between PC and Console-

The digital versions of the game should be anywhere between 9GB and 13.5GB, depending on your territory (largely due to localization stuff). Thatís a far cry from the 40GB footprint for the PC version,

BTW- if you all are not in Xbox Live rewards, let me or another rewards member know, and with the refer-a-friend both of us get bonus points.

Save me some time - is the upgrade thing still an option? Can I buy in on 360 and upgrade for $10 to have it on both? Does it disable my 360 version when I upgrade?
Thanks

And no, the 360 version does not "disable". If you go digital, you keep both versions and can switch between them freely. For $10, that is the route I'm choosing. I'll log one eary tomorrow morning to start the DL, and hopefully be ready to go when I get home from work.

Checked out the digital download today on the XBL marketplace, and in the description it notes that if you DL the Xbox One version on the same gamertag before the end of March 2014, you will get it for $10.

I can't wait to get home today and start leveling up.

I am going to buy the digital as well since I am unsure of exactly when I can get a Xbone.
