Finished up Food Wars season 1. I found it to hit about the same quality level as Baby Steps did for me. It gives nice teasers in some areas of the overall story and really makes you want to come back for another season. As for accuracy on food I wouldn't know as I personally never put that much thought into my cooking. I added 3 more anime series to my queue, Plastic Memories, Fate / Stay Night, and Haikyu!!.

I love Haikyu!! Fate/Stay Night was good, not as good as Zero imo.

Been keeping up with Ace of Diamond. Watched Kuroko's Basketball. Started up Haikyu!! as well. My attitude towards sports anime has completely changed. Before I didn't want anything to do with them and now I want MOAR!!!

I'm about to finish up the first season of Haikyu!! and I couldn't agree more. Kuruko's basketball and it are great anime series.

Not sure if recommended already, but if you're in a sports anime kick -

Baby Steps (Tennis) and Yowapeda (Cycling) are both new, fun, and solid overall shows.

I was looking up other sport anime and Yowamushi Pedal was probably going to be the next one in line for me.

I did start up Gintama today... maybe it's just the first few episodes, but that one felt like it was going all over the place. I got introduced to like... 10 characters in the span of 3 minutes all in different scenes. I'll probably switch it out for Yowamushi Pedal for the time being.

Yowapeda is awesome.
Baby Steps is also great. It's a bit different than most sport anime, but definitely still a good watch.

How can someone make an anime about bicycles and pedaling so d@mn addictive to watch. I have to admit I was cringing the first few episodes but it really started to pick up later on. After watching all these sports anime show I think I can almost say "Inter-High" in Japanese in my sleep.

Yeah, IDK how they made cycling so interesting. I usually keep up with the tour, but I'll be honest - I dropped way too much money on a bike and gear after starting yowapeda. lol

So, this is my list of 'want to check out' shows for this season. Only ones I haven't already started are on here, so they may be horrid or awesome xD

Schwarzes Marken
Utawarerumono
Garakowa -Restore the World-
BBK/BRNK
Phantasy Star Online <-- I briefly played PSO on 360, so intrigued
Shingu
Secret of the Stellar Wars
ERASED
Active Raid
AOKANA <-- Sounds similar to Air Gear, could be lame

Started up Gintama again. The first two episodes were some sort of special, introducing a whole bunch of characters at once. But then the episodes after those two were as if the anime was actually started, gradually introducing the new characters over again episode by episode. Got some laughs out of this one. Took a bit for me to start liking it. It's not an anime to be taken seriously.

Just finished The Perfect Insider this morning and I really enjoyed it start to finish. A solid "locked room" murder mystery that was fun to watch and thought provoking throughout. You can check it out on Crunchyroll.

I have also been watching...

Lupin the 3rd (part 4) and also really enjoying it. New episodes currently airing.
GATE - Fantasy meet modern military (season 1 was really good, season 2 now airing)
Food Wars - Amazing food porn anime (Trust me it's a must watch!)
Space Dandy - Just because. Fun at times.

Yeah Food Wars is really good I can see that anime pumping out a good number of quality seasons before ending. I'm also blazing through the second season of HAIKYU!! and have to say I really love these music intros with the newest ( 4th intro ) being my favorite. I would link a video but copyrights seem to have destroyed my ability to find a solid video to do it justice.

Finally caught up on Gintama (~313 episodes... whew). Probably the most amusing, entertaining anime I've ever watched. I don't usually burst out laughing when watching something funny, but Gintama had me laughing. Most of the time it's all fun, occasionally poking fun at other anime like Dragon Ball and One Piece. Then you'll run into a short arc (<10 episodes) that'll be serious with people out to kill each other. Has a lot of everything I like about anime and I'm glad I stuck with it.

Now I need to catch up on the other anime I've been neglecting since starting Gintama and figure out where to go from there.

Re: Anime Discussion

Well, Spring anime season is here! I'm leaving a bunch out, but here's a quick rundown

Most intriguing: The Lost Village

The Lost Village - Creepy, no idea on actual story. Seems like a survival/suspense show? I really like it from ep 1. Hippopotamus song ftw.
Re:Zero - Groundhog day in fantasy anime form. 1A is nice, 2A starts the real story.
God Eater - Continuing from last season. I think this series ends at ep 13 (already on 10).
Bungo Stray Dogs - Sounds like a crime/action series with some supernatural powers. Looks very good.
Joker Game - Takes place during WWII. Basically a spy series.
Kiznaiver - Highschool story about a kid that can't feel pain. Looks interesting.
Terraformars - No idea, but the characters look badass and I assume there is fighting.
FFXV Brotherhood - About FFXV, obviously
The Asterisk War - New season, about students with cool magical fighting powers.
There are also 2 Gundam series, 1 is continuing, the other 'Unicorn' is new. No idea on the new ones quality.

Re: Anime Discussion

Saw there was a Phoenix Wright anime.  Played the first game and found it fun and interesting.  Anime looks like it does a run through of the first game, which is kind of a deterrent for me because I'll know everything that's going to happen.

Haikyū!! and Gintama ended their seasons, so right now I'm just keeping up with the big three (Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail). So I'll be needing some new anime to watch.

Also found out that Hunter x Hunter 2011 is coming to the United States!  That's still my number one anime and would buy the blu rays if the price is right.

lol! The Lost Village seems the most -potentially- fun. Crunchyroll comments are full of guesses of who dies first... even though there's no real indication that people will be killed aside from an eerie vibe and some odd songs.

Got any websites that have some of the missing Animes you listed. Crunchy roll is nice but they do leave gaps.

Those are all on Crunchyroll. A few start this week, so aren't up yet.

Also, My Hero Academia is made by the creator of One Punch Man and just started.
Check that one out, though you'll have to find it.

I typically just type: ANIME_NAME EPISODE #
into google and always get a few good sites in the top 5

Out of all of the new anime shows I have to say I'm enjoying Joker Game the most. Just love that different setting, something new and totally different. I'll have to hold off till episode 2 of Kiznaiver before I judge it more but d@mn I enjoyed that shows intro. As for the other anime shows I'll have to start watching them when I have time.
