S Class Building Blocks

Post by Lickwid Apex on Thu Jan 03, 2013 11:46 am

S Class,

The speeds get loftier, the cars get sexier and the edge of the envelope gets thinner. My Corvette Z06 in A class proved to be a contender. I hope that the one of the 3 pics for S class will be more intimidating.

Viper
Carerra GT
Koenigsegg

One can be a grip monster from the shadows but the other two look like NomNoms older siblings.

Some track time Monday or Tuesday will help me narrow it down. If anyone else is interested, I'll put up a practice room and open it to the public so the grid will be more populated and dangerous.

Once again I'm not sure if I'll make the tourney but maybe I can hit some practice time for the entertainment value.

The Viper is so quick. I've got a few tunes. My Exige was originally built for S-class, so I may go with that. I really need to practice all the tracks we choose this time. Historically I've had at least 1 big wreck in S-class. Pushing the cars to their limit becomes a lot more scary when you're going 200mph.

Especially when you're an inexperienced, crap driver like me.

Oh, it's rough all around. I don't know how many cars I've flipped hotlapping S-class. Every S-class race I have close calls: Driving in a straight line, going around gradual corners (think Maple Valley straight away before bridge), tapping curbs, spinning out accelerating, etc. Probably the same stuff you run in to. Do it enough and you start to figure out how to avoid totaling your car xD

So far I am looking at the 911 Sport Classic right now. Looks promising! I want to play with a few things this time around. Lots of good stuff to chose from. I should be on over the next few days either playing this or finishing up Hitman. Hit me up

This tourney has really snuck up on me. I will definitely be using the Porsche Classic Sport but I still need to tune it and paint it by tomorrow.

Dark Souls is pwning me.

Not sure what I'll run. I tuned 5 cars completely. They're all fast, and all drive quite a bit different. I'll sneak on sometime and figure out which is my go to car.

It almost seems like it's only been a week since the last tournament. I was on for a bit trying to get more into tuning and practicing manual, but then I played Pokemon. lol
