Avengers

Post by S7 mrmiller on Sun May 06, 2012 3:59 am

If you are reading this thread and have not seen the Avengers- stop what you are doing and go see it NOW! It was amazing. I was very impressed with the way they were able to incorporate all the heroes. Just a great popcorn flick.

Has anyone else seen it yet?

Still haven't seen Thor and Captain America, but I did watch Iron Man again last night on FX.

You pretty much must see both of those before the Avengers. Really, Iron Man 2 and Hulk are the only ones you could probably skip, but definitely not Thor or Captain America. Too much of the Avengers is based off what happens in those 2 movies.

It is a great movie. I liked all of the comedic bits that they were able to incorporate. It was a bit different than the other marvel movies because they seemed like they didn't have any laughs at all not that I think about it. Did you stick around for the very end of the credits?

That's what I hear. I'll probably skip Hulk, since I wasn't too interested when it came out and I didn't hear too many good or bad things about it.

Has it only just come out in the US?

I saw it last week at the IMAX. It was great, unfortunately, sat next to me was an excitable foreign lady who wouldn't shut the f#ck up. Had the film not been so good that I didn't want to miss a single second, I would have stabbed her in the face.

The newest HULK is cool, and you should see it, but not necessary to really get the story of the Avengers.

Like miller said, they only movies you'd really need to watch are probably Captain America and Thor. Those two movies have certain elements in them that would make understanding Avengers a bit easier. Not going to give specifics because I hate spoiling movies. The Iron Man and Hulk movies don't really have any real significant ties to the Avengers movie other than the fact that Iron Man and Hulk are in it lol. They're all good movies to watch, but if you're in a hurry to see the Avengers, then Captain America and Thor are definitely ones you'll need to watch first.

Going to have to wait till next week to go see it but I am looking forward to the movie. Really liked the Iron movies and I think Thor turned out to be a great movie.

Never saw Captain America and I do not think I will get a chance to see it before I see Avengers. I hope I am not missing out to much but that movie just did not appeal to me.

Rent it and watch it this week, as it's pretty key to the Avengers plot line. It's really a good movie, as they do a good job with the WW2 stuff.

for future use BonzOmega you can use button "Other" in the post a reply setting then select Spoiler it will display spoiler____spoiler

and just put the information you want between those boxes then people will see this and have to select the box to see whatever is inside

Spoiler:
Test

The only downside is you will have to make the text inside the box black because the box itself is white making the text unreadable

P.S. Also liked the cliffhanger ending for Avengers.
