You don't understand Sticky well enough yet. He really powers through most games. Plays for several hours hard core and usually does mostly the main missions only. It took him about the same time to beat SKYRIM and I am still playing that game 150+ hours later.

I just looked it up and general consensus is the game will last about 25 hours for the main story line and 40+ hours with the side missions. This means someone like me will probably put about 60 hours into my first play through. I think I scanned pretty much every planet in ME2 and that killed a ton of time but I am obsessed with getting everything I can. Gun upgrades, ship upgrades, armor upgrades etc...

I'm about 10hrs in and I'd say that I've only just scratched the surface. I've got a bout a dozen starter missions done and probably twice that many that are active to start. I'm still impressed with the game and will probably take about the same amount of time as Zak cuz I'm used to the RPGs where you have to visit every corner to clear the "fog of war" and so now I play all RPGs that way.

I finished ME3 this weekend. Total hour count was at just over 42 hours. I did pretty much everything you could do. The only things I did not complete were a few misc. missions that got lost after triggering the first priority Citadel mission. Other than those few I did every mission, side mission and misc mission available. Very happy with my Shepard and my decisions along the way. Very cool game and a fantastic series overall.

About to finish my second playthrough - skipping some of the side missions this time but going for the "best" ending.

I'm up to around 20hrs and probably going to complete about the same amount of the game as Zak. I'm really looking forward to seeing how things play out. I'm not sure if I've come to the point where Zak signed off for a while to figure out which decision to make, but I seem to have no problem making quick decisions and living with my consequences. Great game so far!

Put in a little work and I'm at just shy of 23hrs, I've got 3525 in assets and everything is still at 50% ready. I'm guessing that the readiness changes when you get closer to the final battle, right?

No your readiness only changes when you play multiplayer or if you have the ME3 datapad for the iPhone

Awesome, so because of my issues with my Origin account the only way to adjust my readiness will be with MP. Good to know.

You don't really need readiness. It's only there for an achievement pretty much

Well, to get the best possible ending you will have to adjust the readiness. It is not possible otherwise. That said, I have seen the "best" ending and it's not any different than the "good" ending really. You get a cool little 2 second clip added to the end so don't stress about it too much.

I mentioned a better ending but never specified. As you know, I already know the endings but I was looking out for the other who have yet to finish. We did talk about it in game chat the other night too.
