Those upset me to watch.

Reason 1: Medium AI...for a 3v3 and 2v2? REALLY?

Reason 2: Macro, Sticky, Macro!

Reason 3: It was mainly just killing buildings.

Why did you not just find some actual players, or do a FFA?

1: we were just messing around not sure how much time every one had so we did AI in case some one needed to bail

2: if your saying it mostly shows me ... well no sh1t its fraps and it records what im looking at

3:when you drop into there main to kill of there probes/ SVC's to keep the enemy eco low that what your going to get alot of building kills

side notes
if you would look at the mini map you would see atrum and wonkys forces did fight alot of there enemy forces my whole tactic with the drops are not to fight a army head on as i would have got pwned but to get behind there bases and kill as many support units as possible which in turn does not allow them to make more heavy units over all leading to a win

post up some of your 1337 pwnage epic i would love to see how to really play this game

1: Fine, but still, you coulda played eachother.

2: Not at all what I'm saying. Macro is the management of your base, keeping your money low, investing in extra production, upgrades, etc. Usually helped by a decent system of Hotkeys. When I played Terran I used 1-3 for units (1 was my scout probe at start of game), 4 for CC's, 5 Rax, 6 Fac, 7 Star, 0 Eng Bay.

3: I'm aware of the benefits of dropping, damaging eco, preventing tech, etc. It was the entire reason I switched to Terran a few back (until I got bored of MMM). I'd just like to have seen some of the battles taking place prior to the end battle when it was pretty much just the bases left to destroy.

I've been trying to record stuff all week to no avail. Guess, i'll just use FRAPs and piece together all the files. Want anything in particular? Blink Stalkers? Korean 4-gate? 2-gate zealot pressure? Or I can play as Terran?

It was entertaining to engage 2 armies and still win pretty easily lol.

Also, I'll post a replay when I get home tonight epic. As I forewarned sticky I havent played in ages so my 'skills' are pretty well non-existent at this point.

You're a Terran, it's fine Wink

I hope the 1.4 patch comes out soon. Looking forward to some warp prism harass and Immortals with decent range. Ruins Blink stalker though =(

Since hotkeys came up:
1 - Scout
2 -Builder
3 -Army
4 -Army / specialty
5 -CC
6 - rax
7 - fact
8 - star
F1 - my ramp
F2 - enemy ramp
F3 - xel naga tower
F4 - xel naga tower

For eng and whatnot I'll just flick back to a CC/building near it and click. Occasionally I'll set it as 0 but I've done it the other way forever so probably wont change.

One thing I intend to do when I can be bothered is to remap ` as 0, much easier to reach.

You have a dedicated builder? I just micro whichever probe/SCV has just delivered their minerals. Only a small benefit really but I find it fairly easy to do, so may as well.

What split do you use? I've tried the F1 split but find it a bit dangerous, so I usually go with the 3/3, or if I accidentally go 2/4, i'll split the four again so it's the 2/2/2 (which I think is the optimal split?).

Downloading the NA starter edition, think I can get in custom games with that, although I'm limited to Terran =(

Anyone got a guest pass?

Yeah I started having a dedicated worker hotkey when I was still playing a lot. For some reason having an SCV there when I cycled through hotkeys helped remind me to check my supplies for when to build next.

I usually go 3/3 also as it's a lot easier. If I'm on my game I'll vary the split depending on what I'm against. Usually too lazy/out of practice to do that though.

I'll check for a guest pass, pretty sure I've given all mine out. Also: AtrumX.873

Well, been a sh1t day on SC2 so far. I've be reclassified as Silver after losing about 6 games in a row to cheese. Not too fussed about the league, it's probably better for me but cheese is so boring, as is Marine/Marauder.

Yeah, there is...cos it's powerful and also, safe as hell and you have multiple options for harass. Especially if you can find the resources to fit cloak in for the banshees, maybe delay siege for it?

I'll be putting up a video in a bit of a PvZ I just did. By no means a perfect game as i'm working on a new opening. Basically, I delay the cyber until after a second gate and pressure with zealots. If the push goes well, it can be gg right there, otherwise, you should be able to get a decent starting advantage and you can then transition into whatever, though depending on the race you're playing, some tech paths will be more effective than others.

Against Zerg, if your opening attack does damage, they'll usually play safe and grab roaches, in which case, you can grab a few immortals and push early on, or wait for collosii. Once again, you have to base it on how well the initial attack went.

Yeah, my favorite has always been early thors vs toss as strike cannon + scv's dominates just about everything.
Nice game, no need to look over macro/micro but I did like the trap at the end. All his units cornered and easy for the taking.

Also, having not played much toss myself I was surprised by how well zealots do vs zerglings.

Yeah, I wish I had've move the troops from my base sooner. I reckon I coulda had the cannons finish and I'd have been in a much stronger position. Could've used some sentries but I didn't have the gas off one base and was scared of going for an expo as I expected a roach all-in to follow.
