Flashback

Post by S7 mrmiller on Sat Feb 27, 2010 10:34 pm

This is for the old school guys. I found 3 pages of an old print out from the 2003 counterstrike days. It was where we were voting on the maps for clan matches. Here are the results:

mrmiller - Italy, Chateau
HelloGiraffe - Italy, Corruption
Rmayo777 - Cobble, Vostok
Admiral VMAN - Militia, Aztec
Tico - Chateau, Italy
RiddlingMinion - Aztec
Chemoney - Militia
Dark Plague - Chateau
Manchester CA - Chateau, Italy
bongmasta - militia, Italy
Chumley - Italy, Aztec
Paige (BbyFaceAssassin) Aztek
Vision - Has changed his mind about a dozen times but currently is Chateau and Fastline

LOL. Some old stuff. I wish I had the other pages. Recgonize any names?

Corruption? Why in the hell did I want Corruption??? Italy and Muh-lit-ee-uh ftmfw!

d@mn I miss some of those names. Chumley was frickin awesome but I still have no idea where he disappeared to, bongmasta LOL, Vman is still on my friends list but up at U of Washington, RiddlingMinion was a cool dude but sucked at CS, and I can't believe how long Paige put up with us before running away.

Miller you got anything else from the CS days? Box-Boy Phoenix, CovertNoob with his shotty sniping and shield, Suiking COME BACK HERE, MidnightSun hiding behind the d@mn box on Italy every d@mn game, Krinkle's multiple stalkers....

Out of all the boxes though, by far the best AND most underused was my box at militia. Give me the AK and even the snipers couldn't touch me.

Not to brag but I really was something special during my hay-day. Can't believe I went on holiday and came back to find that my skill level had dropped to that of your average top 50 player (that didn't cheat) =(

360 needs CS!!!

I was in the top 5!!! (for a week )

Anyone down for a CS night sometime? Miller, Epic, Tico, Vision, Steel and/or his lil bro, Jano (he's online right now), hopefully get Krinkle, and whoever else has the game. I'm craving some Muh-Lit-Ee-Uh, Italy, Miami, and Aztec.

Vision has PhoenixInABox on his AIM list, so maybe we can even get that weirdo to hop on

Paige didn't run away. Her internet went out and she never bothered to get it back up. It always annoyed her room mate anyway because she played clan matches late night

I don't know if I still have Phoenix on my AIM list. I'll have to look for him.

LOL Suiking "COME BACK HERE!" in the childish voice ever because he was like 13.

And EpicDodgeDeezNutz really was a CS legend back in his day. Man I hated getting stuck on the other team on Italy when it was Steel Garrett Epic and Krinkle on the other team Sad

Tico is is gonna be PISSED that you forgot his brown ass off that list Joe, lol.

I'd be up for some CS, only problem is that I don't have the disc with me. Might see how much I can get it for on the net. I'd imagine it would cost next to nothing. I used to like playing the bots too... who can forget characters such as Diego and Vladimir.

Diego ftw!

There's a good reason why Vision left Tico off that list, and we all know what that reason is....

OH CRAP I totally forgot they are gonna shut down the XBL servers for all Xbox 1 games on April 15th! We definitely gotta play some CS before that happens

Surely CS would work over the 360 servers, no?

No Bad times.

Edit - Just spent the last hour trying to remember which map corruption was. Theres no info anywhere but I eventually realised that it was the huge camping map. I remember Vision liking it when he went through his 'the clarion is the best gun if you learn to use it' phase.

I only had a few pages of the print out, so he could have voted on the later pages. Plus there was a time during the CS days he went MIA for a while, and that could have been then too.

I remember being dead and Jano64 was the only one left alive so we were watching him. He came up behind a camper, moved in to do a stealth melee kill, then hit the wrong button and promptly threw hit weapon at the guy. Of course the guy just turned around and pwned him. Epic Fail (but hilarious!).

Remember when people used to pretend to be AFK and wait while people got their knives out, lol. Thats why I preferred the classic pistol headshot.

Hahaha can't believe I remember Jano trying to knockout that noob with a well-placed gun thrown to the head and the guy at the Aztec camp box. Good times.
