S7 Forza 3 B-Class Tourney - Season 3

Hold on to your hats because the small stuff is out of the way. From here on out thing get really tense...

Forza News -

Last week was the C-Class Tourney and marked the half way point in the series. We are on the down hill side now and it is still anyone's game. Heated rivalries continue and the races are as close as ever. I am please to say that we had a good turnout for the Class Tourney even after a month of delays and push backs. 8 of the guys showed up which included Glock for the first time this season and in true Glock fashion he dominated the competition. I kept it as close as I could but in the end he just walked off with 1st and never looked back. Well accept to maybe look at the people he left on the side of the road..."sorry", I couldn't resist. LOL!

Sticky raced well and finished with a podium. Congratz bro! Racing right there with him was Atrum, Kenny and Coolhand. They battled it out all night and had some close calls and epic crashes. It was a great night and we had a blast. Unfortunately Wiggles dropped out and ended up losing out for the night finishing in last but giving OC a much need push into 7th. It was some great racing and a lot of fun. At the end of the day the final standings looked like this: 1st - Glock, 2nd - Interseptor, 3rd - Sticky, 4th - Atrum, 5th - Kenny, 6th - Coolhand, 7th - OC and finally 8th - Wiggles.

Overall Season Standings are as follows...

Interseptor - 36pts
Wiggles - 28pts
Sticky - 27pts
Kenny - 17pts
Epic - 16pts
Atrum - 11pts
Coolhand - 11pts
Pooty - 11pts
Glock - 10pts
Chippy - 9pts
OC - 7pts

Amazingly close out there! Wiggles and Sticky are separated by 1 point! Kenny and Epic are separated by 1 point! Atrum, Coolhand and Pooty are all tied at 11pts! With Glock, Chippy and OC right behind, it's crazy close right now and I can't wait to see how it all works out in the end. The rest of this season promises to be a good one. Stay tuned as the tense Season 3 rolls on...

So, with that out of the way, let's move on to B-Class! Now things are gonna get real interesting. B-Class is the first truly fast class. You get a great selection of cars and tuning options. Do you go for the high end Italian ride? Or put some more serious tuning into the Japanese tuner? Tons of options, fast cars and more technical driving all come into play here. It's time to put on you big boy pants because it's about to get serious. The three toughest races are yet to come... Do you have what it takes to hang with the top dogs?

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday July 7 , 2011
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: B-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - Player based
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD(depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the B-Class Champion for Season 3. Your overall placement will go towards your season standing.

I should be up for this one. I'm off that night and don't work until 2pm on Friday. I've gotta get back behind the wheel and start tweaking some B-classers. Look forward to seeing everyone that night and if anyone is looking to test out some B-class cars, gimmie a shout when I'm on.

Just download leaderboard ghosts. That said, the fastest lapper isn't necessarily the best to race, i've had cars that have been 0.5s+ faster than the car I eventually run but it's all about how consistently you can run decent laps. Not to mention having a car that'll provide you with some kind of overtaking edge, i.e. good traction, very high top end, rapid acceleration, etc.

What ever floats you boat Sticky. Calling you a n00b hasn't seemed to help so I have sort of given up on trying to get you to be a real man.

I might not have the time to keep tuning my cars so I might have to run a car that is really untested. Should still be fun!

it does alot better then the 550 ya that right i still tuned the 550

So Sticky might be pulling to the line in a '04 TT also, interesting... very interesting.

I was working on a 2010 TT. I plan to finish it up tonight. And while different, we might see a bunch of TT's. Very interesting indeed.
