Superbowl Food - Whatchu be eatin' ???

Post by S7 Epic on Sun Jan 30, 2011 9:18 pm

I'm looking for some new ideas so I thought i'd ask you guys, since it's kinda your thing...

Atm, i'm thinking -

Nacho's(obv) with cheese dip, salsa, quac, etc.
Uber Chilli - three bean, multiple different meats and cuts.
Pizza - Crispy beef, jalepeno, chorizo.... may add some pineapple?

Not sure if hot wings are worth the effort or not...?

Critique away...

P.S - Will probably stick to Euro beer as it's better and there's only really Miller and Coors that are widely available.

Hot wings, teriyaki wings, beer-bratwurst, burgers, nachos, popcorn, honey-glazed and toffee peanuts, beer of course, rum or Jack and coke (for me, I'm not much of a beer drinker), sodas for the kids, and whatever else my mom decides to toss in front of us on Sunday.

Gotta take the pineapple off the pizza though. I like pineapple, you just can't have it on your pizza for the superbowl if you are looking for man food. It's like putting an umbrella in your drink. LOL.

BTW Bud is not an American beer. just saying.
Not sure, but I'll probably get looped into watching it with my dad, I'll probably bring some queso and hope my mom cooks up a nice spread of goodies. Doubt my grub can compete with your list there Epic.

Buffalo chicken wing dip. Cream cheese, grilled chicken, wing sauce topped with a layer of cheddar cheese, bake for 20 min. Sierra Nevada Pale ALe is all I need.

Hot Wings
Little Hot Dogs
Shrimp cocktails
Mozzarella Sticks
Sushi

and presumably a lot of alcohol.
Probably a bunch of other snack type foods if my sister and her husband come over.

Yeah, I don't think the pineapple would sit nicely with the other topping anyway.

I didn't mention Bud...were you talking to Sticky?

My cousin makes a Buffao chicken di that she serves in a crok pot so it is always hot. Eat it with tortilla chips and it is really good.
