the walking dead

starts today on AMC 10/9c

for any one like myself who wanted to see a cool zombie tv series

it looks amazing

Watched it and it was great! Not only did the TV show really do a good job of staying faithful to the Comic it has set up what looks to be an amazing ongoing series (be sure to watch the preview for the rest of the series).

Unfortunately, this season will only be 6 episodes. I am sure they are waiting to see the ratings before renewing/canceling the show. I for one am really hoping it gets a renewal.

Hope the series makes it.

Yes. The next episode airs this Sunday. Only 6 in the whole first season so be sure to tune in.

Wow, I just watched the first episode... it came on again last night (Friday)... Great episode and great way to start the season.. I look forward to Sundays new episode....

Loved the first episode I don't see the potential of this being a long series but it will be one of great quality.

Panzer you can never get tired of Zombies lol, I hope this gets renewed after this year I've watched the first episode twice and can't wait for tonight for episode 2 I hope this one gets picked up for a few full seasons.
What I really like is the amount of gore they are willing to show which makes the show even better.

Well, the comic series it's based on is still currently running and sits around 78 issues. For reference the first episode last week told the story of the first 2 comics. I'd say they have plenty of material for a long running series.
