LOL! I am actually from Texas, Dallas to be more precise and I actually went to Rangers games growing up. These days I don't really follow pro baseball but the Rangers have a special place in my heart.

(My other favorite team is the Cubs! I sure know how to pick em LOL!)

How could anyone say a team from Texas could possibly be more gay than a team from San Fransisco? LOL. Anyhow, I gotta go for the AL and the Rangers.

Tough...First let me say that my sheer disappointment with my team leads me to want to see anyone beat Texas. That said, I'd like for the WS trophy to remain in the American league. So I'll go with undecided. I "believe" however that Texas has the best chance of winning. Watched last night and you'd think different.

As for the San Fran vs Texas part of this discussion...I'd have to agree with Miller here. San Fran is known for a few things like the trolley cars, the hills, the fisherman's wharf and the drag queen girly boys. Mad When someone hears San Fran "manly men" definitely aren't what they picture in the streets. When I think of Texas I think of cowboys, bar fights, and a set of real rough wranglers.

Not quite the same there Charles sorry bro....

If there's anything gayer than a Texan...it's a San Franciscan....with the exception of Tico who is a leather chap wearing chihuahua who idolizes Freddy Mercury while sitting in a little pink purse. Very Happy

Until now I didn't realize you were into baseball like this Chuck... Very Happy
posting upcoming schedules, making predictions, discussing wins/losses...Glad to see that. Agent, OC, and a few of us will be glad to know you're interested since we have a small S7 baseball club. I expect the same enthusiasm this Spring LOL. Maybe even a MLB 2K11 purchase in March? (new games always released around 3/2)

Anyway, I guess you're right...SF has this one in the bag.

I've always been a MLB fan since seeing the 69 Mets @ Shea Stadium. I got a little discouraged with all the steroid scandals and guys that were supposed to be good role models acting foolish...you know. Starting watching the playoffs with my big brother and got hooked again. Hopefully they won't spoil it for me.
You know I'm a big boxing fan as well....same thing happened awhile back during the Tyson crap...didn't watch boxing for a long time.

Well...just don't get too attached to Tim Lincecum. This is his arbitration year...last year he asked for $13 Million as a 2x back-to-back Cy Young winner...the Giants only gave him $8 million --said he was unproven with a funky style that may cause injury. Tonight he has a chance to be the world series winning pitcher (karma...an "I told you I was great moment"). The Giants aren't exactly small market baseball, but they don't like to spend "Yankee" dollars on players. The Yanks wanted Cliff Lee last July but he wound up withe the Rangers. As the pitcher that possibly beats Cliff Lee tonight, you may just see young Mr. Lincecum with the Yankees next year Shocked
