S7 Forza 3 Classic Muscle Car Tourney

Well, Season 1 is officially over and we are taking some time to unwind before we head into Season 2. In this off season we are going to do a few JFF Tourneys and races. Just cut loose and have some fun racing cars and game modes that we don't get to race during the normal season. In that spirit I am officially announcing the Classic Muscle Car Tourney! Here is the break down:

Classic American Muscle Cars ONLY! This mean no cars produced after 1970. We are looking for classic American icons like the 60's Mustangs, Chargers, Vets, GTO's etc... Some of the older cars out there are a little iffy in terms of "American Muscle". Check with me for final approval.

Upgrading/Tuning - In order to keep this relatively authentic we are going to have a few restrictions.

1) You MUST keep the original engine. You can put what ever parts you want into it, but it must be the original engine. I don't want someone buying a 67 Vet and putting the new Z06 engine in it. Kinda of defeats the purpose of racing Classic cars.

2) You MUST keep the drive train RWD. Again the idea is to race Classic American Muscle so lets do just that.

3) All Cars must be tuned/upgraded to B-Class

(Other than that you can go wild. Parts, paint, weight reduction, wheels, turbo... whatever.)

Being a JFF Tourney we are going to drop back to 5 races with relatively short number of laps. I just want to get together and race a fun little series. It shouldn't take too long and it should be a lot of fun. I hope we get to see some great cars with some wild paint. Remember this is for FUN so let get out there and do it!

Drivers will have 1 week to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win.

Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: B-Class (American Muscle Cars ONLY)
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 5
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the Champ.

Same here, i'll be away from 2nd-20th.

Well, as usual, the time frame is flexible. I was actually hoping to get this one in before you left but I didn't know exactly when you were leaving. I am cool with whatever. My thought was to get the ball rolling so to speak but I really don't care if we wait. Lets see what everyone else says.

Going with the 69' Dodge Charger.. Spent a lot of time painting today and I am very happy with the result...

wont be able to make. I'll be in Austin 2-3 August doing interviews.

3 no's will make it a small event - probably should wait until we can get most everyone there.
