Forza News -

This will be a bit abbreviated from the last few weeks. I am very short on time and a whole week has passed so my memory is a little fuzzy so bear with me. Still, the general theme is that we had another great Tourney. Due to some scheduling problems and technical difficulties we only had 10 people make the last Tourney. Fortunately, that is still more then we ever had in Forza 3 so it was still a great time with some great races. One thing I have really noticed from F3 to F4 is that the additional people really make a difference. Even at 10 people, starting at the back means you have a lot of catching up to do. Much more so than in F3 with only 8 people max. I know that I started in the back a few times last week and it took everything I had to even try and make a podium finish. Of course, the competition has also improved since last year too. Everyone seems to have really stepped up their game. Both old and new members alike. We have a lot of great talent here in S7 and these past few Tourneys have been the best we have ever had. Thanks to everyone who has been showing up and helping out.

Among those who have really stepped up include Atrum who deserves a special mention with his first ever 2nd place overall win and in doing so placed 1st place in 3 of the D-Class races and podiumed in several others. It was a impressive showing and I was only able to barely win out the overall 1st place by placing in 1 more podium finish than he did. It was a great effort, congratz! Finishing in 3rd was Wiggles with a solid showing but some bad luck with wrecks kept him from passing Atrum (and me) overall. Next was another solid finish from LiquidApex in 4th who is also consistently challenging the top players. Epic was in 5th followed by Bloodrusted (6th) and Racecar (7th). OC landed a solid 8th place finish beating out his main rival SockPuppet (9th) and Kenny (Dovahkiin). Kenny ending up taking 10th place overall due to dropping out of the …

We will be accepting short essays from our members about S7 and what it means to you personally. Contest starts today, February 1st and the winner gets a Prize from the Prize Vault. Simply write your essay (Short essay - 500 words or less) and PM it to me (S7 Interseptor). S7 leadership will pick the best 2 or 3 essays and put them up for a public vote. The essay with the most votes wins.

This will be completely anonymous, no names will be given accept for the official winner after the contest is over.

MW3 Interclan Tourney Results

Congrats to Coolhand, BCB84 and ROWDYFLASH on their win in the 1st MW3 tournament.

It came down to the last match with Glock, LickwidApex & racecardriver. It could have went either way.

Thanks to everyone for coming out, I look forward to setting more of these up. Also I'm looking at setting up a late night tournament as well.

I am proud to announce the first Intra-clan MW3 tournament. This tournament will be a double elimination tournament. Teams will be randomly selected as well as maps for this tournament once registration is completed. We will be playing hardcore domination to change up the pace and try and level out the playing field. I look forward to seeing everyone come on out and sign up. It will be a great time. Please get with me for registration as early as possible to get things kicked off on time.

Forza News -

Well, we are off to a great start! The season premier event was a huge success with a turnout of 12 people! It was the biggest racing field we have ever had in our Forza Series. And because Forza 4 allows up to 16 people no one had to qualify or sit out the race. We had many of the usual suspects as well as some new comers. It was great to see some fresh faces and the racing was competitive and clean all night long. It was a great time and I look forward to many more exciting nights of racing.

Yesterday, we we got together for the first event of the season. It was VERY intense as usual. There were some great moments, close races and memorable mistakes. **cough Kenny on his side cough**. Unfortunately I missed the first 2 races due to internet failure so I started with a serious handicap. Fortunately I was able to really open it up and finished 1st place in all five events I was able to race. Still, it was not quite enough to overtake the lead that Wiggles had gained in my absence. Props to Wiggles who raced well all night long and took top honors at the end of the night (1st place). Despite my slow start I still managed to lock down 2nd place with Epic right on my heals in 3rd. Liquid Apex also had a solid night for his first event with the clan, claiming 4th place overall and 3 podium finishes! The next section features more of our veteran drivers, Coolhand, Kenny and Atrum. Coolhand locked down 5th place by a margin of only 2 points and Kenny and Atrum tied for 6th place. Next up was Pooty in 8th. He did surprisingly considering he had no mic and connection/lag issues all night. Even managed a podium finish! Also props to RaceCar, Benji and Riff Raff who finished 9th, 10th and 11th place respectively. All three of these guys raced well all night. Rounding out the field was OC 12th. Overall Season Standings are as follows...

S7R Forza 4 F-Class Tourney - Season 1

Introduction:

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!! This is it ladies and gentlemen. We are about to kick off the first official season of Forza 4. It's the start of a very exciting series of races where only 1 man can be crowned champion. This season will consist of 8 different events starting with the upcoming F-Class Tourney and eventually ending with the R3 Showdown at the end of the season. We will race one Tourney approximately once every two weeks. Each of the 8 Events will be an individual Tourney consisting of 7 races each. We start in F-Class and work our way up one class at a time until we finally reach R3. The official Tournament classes will be F,E,D,C,B,A,S,R3

Each Tourney will have an individual winner and that person will get a trophy along with their name in the official S7R Trophy Case - http://sacredseven.prodiscussion.net/t3808-forza-4-trophy-case

*Plus, points earned during the Tourney will go towards your overall total score for the Season. At the end of the season the individual with the highest amount of points will be crowned the Clan Champion for Season 1. This will net you a special Trophy/Sig by S7 Interseptor (custom made), a nice little season prize (to be announced later) and of course bragging rights over you fellow racers.

S7 Forza 4 BREAKOUT Tourney

Forza 4 is here and it is better than anyone could have hoped! Better in every way than it's predecessor. More cars, more tracks, better graphic and better physics. To put it plainly, this game just rocks. This also marks a new chapter for the S7 Racing division. The start of a new tradition and the beginning of what should be several seasons of racing. So, to kick things off we are doing a BREAKOUT Tourney! This is just for fun and to get to know the new game. There are no points to be had and your finish here will not effect your season standing. Just good old fashioned fun. Details are below. I hope to see everyone there and Good Luck.

For this Tourney we are going to be racing any and all the new tracks we can. It's going to be a great way to get to know these new tracks and a good way to help keep everything even. Everyone will be on the same footing in terms of track knowledge and it should make for some great races. As for the car? Well, we are also going to race mostly new cars to Forza with Stock tuning. This means you will not have to worry about tuning a car. All you have to do is show up ready to race. We will change cars with every race and cover several different classes. It should be really fun and a good chance to get to know what's new with Forza 4.

P.S. Remember, Forza 4 now allows for up to 16 players to race at a time so everyone who shows up will get a chance to race. Qualifying should not be necessary.

More Games + New Members = More Excitement!

The month of October has been a busy one, and November looks to be even more exciting!

We have started up a new clan game with the release of Gears of War 3, and with that we have some new leaders with Atrum taking the roll of the Game Captain and Puppet as his XO. Gears is in good hands, and will be picking it's own game night soon so members can focus on playing that particular game on that particular night, and know they will have several S7 members on to team up with.

With the release of the big fall titles in progress, we have decided to retire COD: Black Ops and make room for Modern Warfare 3 along with GOW3, Battlefield, and Forza. We are currently taking applications for Game Commander of MW3, and look to kick it off big time when it is releases on November 8th. Also, you know we will be having some kick-off tourneys for the all the new games soon, so that is going to make it all the more exciting.

The upcoming months should be good ones for S7. We have several new members, and with new games being released about every other week, It’s a great time to be a gamer! If you are interested in joining S7, post up in the "Join Us" section of the forums.
